An Exhibition of a Cultural Hero - Jackson Pollock

Here are my inspirations and sketches of my Jackson Pollock's poster. I mostly based my work on drip painting. The common thing on my drafts is Jackson Pollock's name/signature, since that is the first thing an artist does after finishing one of these works.
On my final work, the writing "Jackson Pollock" is chosen to remind a handwriting. The stains show the irregularity that these works had, with drip painting.
The colors chosen (electric blue, black and brown) were often found in the works from which I was inspired. This is also the reason for the yellow paint stain, a color used a lot.
The font chosen for the title features splashes of spots, a reminder of his work, but is also an imposing font. Pollock being one of the main artists of this movement, it reminds us of his importance.
